My Story

Alright, so you’ve seen the homepage. You know I’m obsessed with optimizing systems—from multi-million dollar construction projects to human performance.

But that’s the “what.” This is the “why.”

My professional life has been spent orchestrating chaos on massive, high-stakes construction projects. I’m the guy who takes a billion-dollar blueprint and turns it into a living, breathing reality. It’s taught me more about systems, leadership, and dealing with pressure than any MBA program ever could.

But the most important project I ever built wasn’t for a client. It was for my family.

Over a decade ago, I became obsessed with an idea: what if I applied the same rigorous systems-thinking from my day job to my own home? What if I could re-engineer our living space to actively improve our health, focus, and well-being?

So I did. I (my wife and I) managed the design and construction of our own ‘near’ passive house. It wasn’t just a renovation; it was my first real LARGE experiment in optimizing human infrastructure. That project proved to me that the environment we’re in—whether it’s a building or a career—either fuels you or drains you. There’s no in-between.

That’s the professional stuff. On a personal level, there are a few things you should know about me:

• I’ve invested my life in: Honesty, kindness, dependability, and building friendships that last. That’s the non-negotiable foundation for everything else.
• I believe in taking on the hard thing. A few years ago, I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. Not because I’m a professional mountaineer, but because I believe the best way to find your limits is to push past them. The discipline and focus required on that mountain are the same principles I apply to my work today.
• And at the end of the day, all of it… The projects, the AI research, the obsession with optimization… it’s all in service of one thing: creating and showing up for a loving family team. That’s my ultimate metric of success.

So that’s me. A construction guy with a penchant for technology, a belief in doing the hard work, and an unwavering focus on what actually matters.
