Do you watch Greg Isenburg’s podcasts? He has his guests show the ‘sauce’. I love it! Well I love watching it. The guests make it look so easy. I see what they are doing and I already have ideas for what their inventions can do for me… and then I try to make them work.
Docker as an MCP interface
So Riley Brown was showing how to connect Claude to docker and from docker into Notion where he keeps great examples for the LLM to use as it builds for him. The switching costs to have your info in this model or that model, how wonderful would it be to have your information in Notion or similar and just plug it into which ever model is doing it for you that week?
Anyway. I download Claude desktop and fire up my misunderstood pal docker. It is then that I realize that you need to have a subscription to Claude to connect to an MCP. I do not have that subscription. Undeterred, I had recently seen a tweet that LM Studio was getting into the MCP game. How different could that be?
